My Students

In my classroom, I truly value student-centered learning! My kindergarten students are energetic, curious, and inventive. All of my students enter my classroom from various experiences with a wide variety of background experiences to draw from. It is such a joy to seem them engaged and excited to learn and grow.

It is a priority to ensure all of my students feel loved and a valuable part of our learning community.

Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with my students and their families is a very important aspect of my teaching. Every day is a new adventure, and I’m so blessed to have these 20 wonderful students.

My Project

This year has been filled with lots of changes for my kindergarten students. I am teaching both fulling online and in-person learners this year. Many of my online learners have transferred to learning in person at school. There was also a time where our entire school was learning from home for an extended period of time.

I would love to make our end-of-year kindergarten celebration super special and memorable for my young leaders.

Each year I make a slide show of pictures that have been taken of my students over the year. I would really like to burn a CD for each student as a special treat for them to take home and share with their families.

I imagine a celebration complete with treats, prizes, certificates and lots of smiles. I would love to write a postcard for each student with a special note of love and encouragement. This would be mailed to them in August, to build up their confidence for a first grade.
