Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are goofy, silly, funny, emotional, frustrated, energetic, impulsive, and craving someone to care about them. My classroom consists of ten students with special needs and fifteen students of mixed English language learners and general education students. This makes it difficult to meet the various needs of the students in my classroom.
I do my very best to make each child feel special and assure them they can do it.
My school has a huge population of low socio-economic students, as well as children in shelters. It would be great to give these students a chance and an opportunity to meet their optimal potential.
My Project
These times are the absolute hardest for teachers and our students. Seeing the sadness in our students faces and trying to connect through a screen is the biggest challenge ever. I am doing everything I can to motivate my students and encourage them along every step of this super hard learning world we are in.
I am requesting Cricut vinyl in a variety of colors, patterns and textures which will allow my students to express themselves and will allow for endless art projects and artistic creativity.
Right now, more than ever, we need to connect with our students, give them a sense of togetherness back and putting smiles on their faces! Your donations will help make my students feel so very cared about even though they are on a screen and not with me in my classroom!
