My Students
I teach in a small, cozy neighborhood elementary school in Virginia. The children in my building are lively and great kids. They appreciate and evolve from positive but firm motivation and are very bright when focused and interested. We were named a National Blue Ribbon School in 2006. Our school was recently renamed in June of 2018.
I love teaching grades Pre-K through First because kids at this stage are so enthusiastic and happy to learn!
I feed off of their enthusiasm and it makes me want to provide them with even more innovative learning experiences!
My Project
Sigh... My large timer fell and cracked! Now, when the timer goes off, it beeps every OTHER time and is barely audible. My group leader badges—every day, I choose 4-5 kids to lead my small groups—are torn up, as well. The foam is spilling out of three of them and one badge is missing its whole number and clip.
TIME for some replacements...
I am asking for a new giant timer from Lakeshore and a Time Timer MOD to use during Reading and Math small groups.
I am also requesting some new ID retractable clips to create new group badges.
I like my groups to run effectively and orderly and I think these items will give them a fresh look.
