This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I would love to give my 3rd graders access to current news articles. In previous years we have had access to textbooks that will help relay our history to students.

With the Time for Kids articles, I would be able to provide my students with literature that will not only spark their interest but allow them to view history in a fun and engaging manner.

These articles would be perfect for my early finishers and will allow my higher-level students to have access to some informational text similar to what the older grades are using! These articles will also expose my students to health and wellness topics that they can use within our community.
