Help me give my students printed and digital access to news impacting our country and world, while discussing topics of interest across academic subjects such as social studies, science, health, mathematics, etc. They need Time for Kids.

I have a group of students who are fun loving, eager-to-learn new things, excited about school and love to READ. Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best vary greatly. Truly, they are my inspiration!
We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are!
They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have a new group of learners that are excited and ready to learn each year!
My fifth-grade students will be provided their Time for Kids subscription in class and instructional time will be utilized across classes to read the magazine—whole class, small groups, or individually—introducing or accompanying academic units of study, academic vocabulary, and will provide great lessons and introductions to more in-depth projects and investigations for student learning.
As the school year progresses and my students become more independent readers during our daily silent and independent reading time, these Time for Kids magazines will provide another reading resource for students to utilize during this time.
The accompanying questions with the Time for Kids magazines will provide the student, teacher, and family with an informal assessment of a student's grade level reading comprehension skills.
