My Students

There are so many things happening in the world around us and discoveries being made that our students need to be aware of. Relevant, engaging, and current content is essential to student learning, and TIME for Kids will help students engage in deeper learning.

These 3rd grade students are active and enthusiastic learners.

They are curious about the community and world around them and have a desire to always learn more and learn how they can be global citizens. Our focus in 3rd grade is for students to learn about how they are part of a bigger story happening in the world around us, and that they have something that they can contribute.

My Project

When given TIME for Kids, students will use this material to integrate reading and writing with relevant things happening in the world of science and social studies around us. Students will use these current event stories to grow their comprehension skills and level of engagement with grade level reading content.

Students will be aware of current events happening in the world around them and will be able to connect with what is happening.

They will have a deeper awareness of their community on a global level. They will be able to use these magazines to integrate different subjects.
