My Project

Time and money are two of the most important skills for children to understand. My students love hands-on materials just like I do! I am excited to use these new materials during whole group time for addition, subtraction, learning about money, and how to tell time. I will pair my students with different skill sets to teach my lower students to do better and help my stronger students better understand through teaching or assisting their classmates. With these manipulatives, my students will be able to identify learning new math concepts through problem-solving and the ability to manipulate concrete materials, such as dominoes, play money, Bingo games, Stacks Fraction games, multiplication flashcards, magnetic money, and time puzzles.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
