My Project

We are planning a big clean our school community day with our students on Earth Day. The whole day is planned to clean up and fix up our playgrounds and surrounding areas around our school.

Our kids are kindergarteners so they need a little incentive to get them excited about cleaning up.

We want to have the kids make their own tie dye shirts for the big Earth Day celebration and clean up. We will teach the kids the importance of recycling and keeping our earth clean. They can pick up the garbage and learn how to sort for recycling. We will also have a few lessons on beneficial insects. Teaching them how bugs, birds, and pollinators are the epitome of how we grow flowers and food. They will do all of this while wearing their beautiful tie-dye creations.
