This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With the use of the supplies in this project, I can provide essential organizing materials to my first graders. As a first-year teacher, I have learned that staying organized helps students maintain their focus a little longer. This project will enable us to organize our manipulatives in the storage containers with lids. The baskets will help us organize our classroom library better so that students can find their leveled books faster and read more.

Organizing is important for establishing a routine, fostering responsibility, enhancing learning, time management, reducing anxiety, and promoting independence.
