Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students I teach love Physical Education. They are eager to learn, they are patient, resilient, and always open to new skills and opportunities when they come to class. As a Physical Education teacher my goal is to provide age-appropriate opportunities for students to grow and succeed in all skills.

The items I have requested will give my primary K-2 students the opportunity to learn and master throwing, catching, and striking with fun, soft, age-appropriate equipment versus the upper grade level equipment that can be scary to catch and strike.

The items will give the students the confidence boost they need to realize that they are capable of the skills we will learn and be available for other grades that may need more differentiation in the lesson.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
