My Project

My students are actively working to cultivate a welcoming and inclusive environment for their peers. We already have several initiatives giving students opportunities to contribute to the culture and climate of the school. Through this proposed project titled "Threads of Unity," these students would employ custom-designed, student made t-shirts adorned with uplifting messages to promote positivity and build a sense of community within the school. Recognizing the significance of fostering inclusivity, the students would aim to create a supportive atmosphere where everyone feels valued and accepted. By wearing and sharing these messages of encouragement, my hope is to instill a sense of belonging and inspire their fellow students to contribute to a school culture characterized by kindness and mutual respect.

This project reflects our commitment to nurturing an environment where diversity is celebrated, and each individual is embraced for their unique contributions, fostering a positive and welcoming high school experience for everyone.

The proposed purchases are the supplies that would be needed for students to create the custom apparel -- the Epson printer, the sublimation ink, the sublimation paper, the heat press, the heat gloves (for safety).
