My Project

Thanks to a previous DonorsChoose project, I was able to build a sensory room from the ground up that helps students regulate their emotions, giving them a safe space to cope with challenges they may be facing. This room has also been used for my current leadership class where all of the school's community service projects take place.

Currently, we are in need of a color printer to help with our creations and spreading the word with color fliers of specific events we are conducting.

Being able to have the printer, and uplifting stickers will help hallway posters, and community fliers come to life!

I also have a younger student group that can benefit from the grocery store scanning items. This can help me place the kids into two different groups and help them gain skills that include sharing since some of these students are having a difficult time doing so. I have a grocery store curriculum that will pair very nicely for this group, and these interactive playsets will help bring the lesson come to life!

Last, but not least, some of my older students are having a hard time with multiplication and division concepts. With these box sets, I will be able to pair students together that need that extra help to differentiate their instruction while making education fun!
