My Project

We are a classroom at a regional program, a public separate school, composed of students whose needs exceed that of their general school district. Finding tasks that are appropriate and safe can be a bit of a challenge at times as our students often have very unique and extreme requirements.

This is a project focusing on materials needed to get our classroom some much needed tools to work on those fine motor skills that we all need.

Two of the items specifically go hand in hand with working towards those OT IEP goals! Plus, there's no greater joy than having a student ask for a "preferred incentive" that's actually a learning tool!

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
