This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hi there and thank you for looking at my project!

For Teacher Appreciation week I asked my current students what they would like to see in the classroom for next year's students.

The answer is both pragmatic and whimsical, just like my students! They first asked for snacks, then moved on to plushies and lighting for the new reading area. I then asked them about the work we do in class. That prompted the need for more posters, markers, and, posties because they liked the drawing and collaborative projects!

My goal, as always, is to build a collaborative, supportive, and safe learning environment for all students. My students are diverse. I have all the students who take English Language Development as well as the Junior English students. I have students from all over the world with diverse interests and passions.
