My students need humorous reading texts for enjoyment! I believe that learning can be fun, fun, fun! And it should be!

My Students

Do you remember reading comics when you were a kid? Or maybe you read the silly pages in the newspaper? Well children gravitate to humorous reading!

My children attend a charter school where the teachers are passionate about what they teach.

Although, our funds are limited and I want to bring reading into the classroom. I want my walls seeping with books! Books, books, everywhere! What better way to do that then with humorous books!

My Project

My hope is that even the reluctant reader will want to pick up an Amelia Bedelia book or a joke book and read it. They can even share the jokes or stories with a friend. What a great way to build self-esteem in a child to allow them to share jokes with the class. We need more laughter in this world!
