This is our Village

Help me give my students the opportunity to feel a sense of belonging and being welcomed with their photos decorating the school halls. All the students will be represented and their presence acknowledged.

My Students

I work with very diverse students; racially, linguistically, ability and economically. I love to see the smiling and enthusiastic faces every morning as they troop into school. The are special because they make me realize that no matter what happened yesterday, every day is a new day with exciting beginnings. Their happy voices that greet you in the morning is a motivator.

My Project

Color photos taken of each child will be displayed in the hallways to make the students feel a sense of belonging. The color printer will be also used for many projects that the students will be engaged in.

We want to portray and celebrate the very diverse student body we have at our school.

Children can identify with other students who may not be in their class but look like them. Their art work can be printed to demonstrate to the children how their work can be duplicated and displayed.
