My Project

My 3rd graders love to read! Years ago when I first moved into my classroom, I inherited many chapter books from other teachers. Now, many of those books are old and tired. It's time to weed out the books that are damaged and/or outdated. There are so many wonderful and exciting new books series available and I'd love for my students to have access to them in their very own classroom.

Many kids depend on their classroom library as they do not have books at home.

My students love to read in the classroom, and they also love to be able to take books home to read with their families. I want to be able to offer them as many choices as possible. The books on this list cover many reading levels and topics of interest. Students will be able to have a more varied choice books, which will help them continue to enjoy independent reading time.
