Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My third graders are creative and eager learners. They are thrilled to be back on campus this year. The students are a diverse group, with families from several different countries.
The children have an eager sense of curiosity and love learning new skills.
Third graders are ready to make the leap into written stories with illustrations. They have beautiful colored pencils, but need crayons and paper to complete their artistic tools.
This classroom art and writing project will give the students the supplies they need to complete beautiful final drafts of their written work
My Project
Third grade students are ready for writing; they love telling a good story! After writing their ideas on paper and making the necessary revisions for a final draft, they need the proper tools to make their stories come to life.
This project will give the students the materials for a keepsake journal of their third grade writing.
There is a wonderful sense of accomplishment when a student finishes a piece of written work, and these journals will give each student a way to organize their progress.
The triangular crayons provide multiple surfaces to use for illustrating; they are much better for shading and making borders.
