Thinking Like an Economist!

My Project

Quality learning resources are key to student engagement, understanding and success. Particularly for high school students who are learning college-level economics, multiple ways to access the materials are essential to pave a strong foundation for their success in college. Most of my students are from low-income, immigrant households that believe in the power of education, particularly in this unprecedented time of uncertainty. These latest editions of AP student workbooks by the Council of Economics Education are designed to help students learn college-level economics using various case studies. For my immigrant students, these workbooks and worksheets can give them extra practice they need to be familiarized with the questioning and vocabulary in the economics discipline.

These workbooks and case studies will help ease students mental pressure as they navigate the learning of college level economics in high school.

These resources will help students learn and understand economics and personal finance and prepare them for the AP Economics exam in May. As most of my students are graduating seniors, this exposure to economics and financial literacy will tremendously enhance their personal finance planning in this age of economic uncertainty.
