My students need a 3D printer to help inspire them for future career paths of designing and engineering while teaching them the necessary technology skills.

My Students

Help keep our Integrated Technology Class current with 21 Century Technology! As new technology becomes available students need to have access to it in order to keep their learning relevant to today's world and tomorrow's future.

My students come from a diverse population, which many students do not have access to personal computers or other high tech devices outside of school.

The majority of students are on free and reduced price lunch. My students are eager learners and love to spend time learning different technologies such as creating blogs, podcasts, and creating tutorial videos.

My Project

Students will have an opportunity to work in small groups on a creative project. They will come up with an idea to design something or solve a current problem, learn new software that will allow them to create an object of which they can then touch, feel, hold, and share with others.

My goal is to help inspire students to like engineering, math, and science.

I want them to say, "This was a cool project. I wonder what else I can make?" This project is focused on getting their creative brains thinking and getting them excited about building objects through computer software.
