These wonderful resources have already made a big difference for our students. They use the tools during check-ins, counseling sessions, and moments of high anxiety to manage stress, stay focused, and practice healthy coping skills. \r\n\r\nMany students stop by the counseling office just to grab a sticker, stress ball, or fidget toy to brighten their day. We've also used these items to support students during panic attacks or after conflicts, giving them a safe outlet to calm down. We even included calming strips, mini pop fidgets, and mental health stickers in our Halloween grams, which students loved.\r\n\r\nWe plan to continue using these resources every day and throughout our counseling activities. The sensory tools and stickers help students build emotional regulation, self-awareness, and positive thinking. The affirmation cards have been a hit, especially with some of our small groups. Your generosity has created a more supportive, welcoming environment where students feel seen, encouraged, and empowered.","fullyFundedDate":1755739435655,"projectUrl":"project/sensory-mental-health-tools/9542631/","projectTitle":"Sensory & Mental Health Tools","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Gasparyan","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10113900_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1754946474606","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10113900"},{"teacherId":10113900,"projectId":9586420,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous support! This simple but meaningful resource has made a big difference in their daily experience at school. Many students come to school hungry or without enough energy to focus, and having snacks available has helped them stay alert, calm, and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nStudents often stop by my office to grab a small treat, like a piece of chocolate or candy, and I use these moments to check in, ask how they're doing, and monitor their progress. The snacks have truly helped build stronger connections and a more caring school environment where students feel seen and valued.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, we plan to continue offering snacks as part of our efforts to support students' overall well-being.
