My Project

Some of our teachers have the book “Building Thinking Classrooms.” They have found it very beneficial and have implemented many new ideas about how to teach math through collaboration and group work. We would like to provide these books for the rest of our math department.

We will also use these books to participate in a book study by the Oklahoma Council of Teachers of Math & a Math Education professor at The University of Oklahoma.

Our department is excited to collaborate with each other and with other teachers across the state. We will use this opportunity to improve our methodology and impact student learning.
