My Students

My students are in fourth grade and ranging in ages from 8-10. Our school has 52% low income, which makes it difficult for many to take part in hands-on activities outside of school that would promote learning. As well, opportunities for field trips are hard for students who cannot afford to come along. This is why I want to bring the experience to the students!

Walt Disney once said "We keep moving forward, opening new doors, & doing new things, because we're curious & curiosity keeps leading us down new paths." The most impactful learning is accomplished when students are surrounded by opportunities to soak in stimulating and hands-on information.

My goal is create a classroom without boundaries and borders!

My Project

Help me give my students snacks to help foster their learning in school. Students need snacks to remain focused in class. These snacks will help my students be successful in the classroom because they will have brain food. The students eat lunch very early in the morning. Therefore it is hours before the students will go home to eat dinner.

This project will provide my students with prepackaged snacks to help stop the spread of germs.

Due to COVID, students are unable to share snacks from a big box. Hence why the snacks need to be individually wrapped snacks. These snacks also offer students a variety of choices to help they get through the work day!
