Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are goofy, silly, funny, emotional, frustrated, energetic, impulsive, and craving someone to care about them. My classroom consists of 10 students with special needs and 15 students of mixed English language learners and general education students. This makes it difficult to meet the various needs of the students in my classroom.
I do my very best to make each child feel special and assure them they can do it.
My school has a huge population of low socioeconomic students, as well as children in shelters. It would be great to give these students a chance and an opportunity to meet their optimal potential.
My Project
No one thought we would ever be living in a world like this - and going through it as a child is unimaginable. I will never stop doing anything and everything I can for my students...but where learning is right now, I will go even further and to any lengths possible to give my students back some joy and a sense of being cared about. Having a variety of Cricut Vinyl will allow my students to express themselves. It will allow them to express their sadness, frustrations, creativity and their own self through creative art. No one needs an outlet more than children right now.
Having donors like you looking out for our little ones gives us hope that we can make this happen - WE can give them back their smile -WE can make them feel cared about - WE can give them their confidence back.
