My Students
I teach at a Title I school. More than half of the students are living in a low-income family household. Despite this, these students love to learn.
"I can't do this, yet, but I am going to keep on trying.” This is a quote from one of my students this year.
They love to try new things and not give up.
My students entered my class at various levels in reading and math. They love to work together and help each other at any time during the day. They need hands-on activities to keep them focused. They are very hard workers, and I can't wait to see them grow this year!
My Project
My students need hands-on manipulatives to explore and learn math and science concepts. These math manipulatives will allow students to practice their math skills in real life situations. The STEM building activities will give the students opportunities to expand their thinking in different ways.
Students will be more creative with the robot kits.
This will help the students in their futures. They will be able to think about what they want to build and create it. They can even use trial and error to see what works and what does not work. These will give them so many skills that will help them throughout their lives.
