My Students

If I could describe my classroom in five words, they would be authentic, rigorous, supportive, engaging, and community. Students in my class have ownership of their own learning and a lot of what goes on happens naturally. Because of the passion I have for learning and my strong desire to share it with my students, my class is definitely engaging.

Taking time to know my students well, not just as learners, but also a people has helped to create a real sense of belonging in our shared space.

My students love to learn and I want to feed their curiosity and make my classroom a great place to learn.

My Project

Boom Cards will help my students in their reading and math stations and also at home (during distant learning) with standards that have been taught to them. I will use the Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards to purchase the Boom Cards for my students.

They contain hands-on activities that mimics real word building activities that are comprehensive.

Each Boom card set includes differentiating instruction that meets the needs for each of my students. They are interactive so they will make learning fun not only at school but at home too!
