As a first-year teacher, I had no recess toys at all. With the warm weather slowly fading and the colder months approaching, I knew I had to find some enrichment for my students during their free time, and your donation has done exactly that!\r\n\r\nMy students beg to stay indoors most days to play with the board games or indoor recess toys. Don't let that fool you, they bring the outside toys with us every day we go outside. I have a very active group of students who love being outside. Being able to provide enrichment to them on the playground not only cuts down on the behavior issues we might see during unstructured recess, but also provides their childhood with imagination and whimsy. \r\n\r\nAs our packages were being delivered to school, I would surprise the students by putting a few on our back table while they were out of the room, and we would do an \"unboxing\" together. They were right there with me as I opened each package, and each \"wow\" got louder!
