Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our PreK students study Creative Curriculum and one of our studies is called the Balls Study. We spend a month investigating as much as we can about balls. We talk about if all balls roll, bounce, how balls are made and where we get balls! We would love to get an electric ball pump to quickly and easily pump up our balls that deflate from time to time. We would also love a variety of ball stickers to count and create patterns. The fidgets are for the students to explore and touch.

Playing with balls is something that all children can benefit from and helps to improve motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and timing.

Ball play also helps improve social skills, turn-taking, as well as general play skills such as independent play, parallel play, and collaborative play. We love to provide hands-on exploration and experimentation in PreK. Thank you for supporting our learning experiences!
