My Students
I teach in an urban, public charter school in Oklahoma that predominately serves Hispanic students (about ninety percent or so of our student population).
They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions!
My students come to school eager to learn.
They have a love for technology and as children of the twenty-first century, they need to be prepared to use a variety of tools to engage their world. I would love to share my ideas to allow them to flourish personally and academically.
My Project
Currently, my students are in plastic chairs that get uncomfortable after sitting for long periods of time. As students work on their chromebooks each day, I wanted to create a professional setting where students can feel important and successful.
According to research, ergonomic chairs will be able to help students to concentrate and increase productivity.
As we move into the digital learning and constantly sitting in front of digital devices, I want them to feel comfortable and focused when completing assignments online. Please help my students roll into the school year.
