My Students

I teach in a small rural town in Mississippi where there is much diversity. My students come from low income families to middle class families. Some have never experienced any setting other than their hometown.

My students are 7th and 8th graders with many at very low level reading and math levels.

These students are ones that have struggled their entire school-filled days. As an interventionist, it is my prayer that they can be motivated to be successful in the classroom setting, as I strongly believe that ANY student can learn.

My Project

The older they get, the bigger they get!! My students are in the 7th and 8th grades. They are at the age of growing every second! The young men, especially, and the chairs that we have at the moment are only 16 inches from the floor. These students desperately need the larger chairs and ones that are mobile, able to be moved around in the classroom.

These young teens are trying desperately to improve their scores and show growth to be able to move to the next level.

Please help us to do this so they can be motivated and successful.
