This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are resilient learners. They are the cutest kids ever! I wish so much that we could work in person this year. Initially, we were supposed to be in person and then with all the shifting I became this awesome groups remote teacher.
My kids each have their own unique personalities; they love learning virtually with me and they try their best at everything they do.
They are funny and love to dance and have silly little moments.
I am so proud of the rapport we have built in our little virtual world. They love one another and they show respect, I could go on and on. I love them so much!
My Project
The at-home learning kits will make an enormous impact on my students when learning remotely. The students will have manipulatives for math and letters for reading and writing practice. All of these materials come packed in a backpack for easy distribution.
I sent them little erasers, 10 each during holiday break, that they could use for math for our addition and subtraction activities, and they were so overjoyed and I know with materials like this it will make learning a lot more engaging for my students.
The kids love learning online with me and I just want them to have everything they need to make it as successful as possible.
