Our lunch is early,, 10:30am and we are in school until 2:20pm. These resources allowed for students to have a snack every day towards the end of our day. We would have dedicated snack time around 1pm so students could get an extra boost of fuel to continue their learning. \r\nThe snacks provided us with goodies during celebrations too. The students invited families to their writing presentations and the parents were able to participate and utilize these great resources too. The students used the resources to practice the reading skills we use every day such as: blending sounds from beginning to end to read simple c-v-c words and then words with digraphs too. A lot of what we do works on building the base of reading such as knowing letters and their sounds and even when vowels sounds change based on the letters around them. \r\nThe work we have done has been instrumental to their growth as learners.
