My Students

I teach an amazing group of 4th graders in a K-12 school in a small rural community. They are bright, enthusiastic, and eager to learn. They are truly a joy to teach.

My classroom contains a diverse group of learners who need diverse tools to help them learn.

Technology can help create opportunities for all learners to be able to work and excel at their own level.

My students are growing up in world where technology is involved in almost every aspect of life. Using technology in the classroom will definitely get students engaged and prepare them for the future.

My Project

There are thousands of apps that cover every subject taught in school. An iPad would make a great addition to our classroom. We could use it to enhance and differentiate our literacy and math centers. There are so many apps and books geared for any level. By selecting my own apps, I will be able to create lessons that meet the needs of all my students.

Interactive technology makes learning more engaging and memorable!

Tablets can change the way that learning take place and give children access to valuable information. If we had an iPad for our class it would provide endless opportunities to create hands on learning experiences for the students. There is a world of possibilities!
