This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students (my babies) are exceptional. I’m currently teaching grades 3-5 special education students with emotional and learning disabilities. My students are in grades 3-5, but their abilities range from K-3.
My students have always had a hard time with school and they explained to me that this is the first time they’ve ever been excited about coming to school and learning new things.
This makes me so proud that I’m making such an impact on their lives.
This is my third year teaching special education. Here’s where I need your help!
My Project
There is an application for that! My students are required to login to specific computer programs daily! I would love my students to have an easier way to access their applications. I believe an iPad will be an easier way for my students to access their applications. Students will be able to press the application and hop on quickly! My students all have disabilities and it’s difficult to log in to a computer and type in perspective passwords. Students normally are frustrated with doing so many task. The gift of the iPads will reduce frustration and open a new world of math and science applications.
