Theatre Organization Project

My Students

Our performing arts department is a strong part of our high school with over 25 years of a tradition of excellence. Over half of the students in our school participate in the arts. The pride we have for many, many performing opportunities is present in all ensembles and performances.

The philosophy of our performing arts department is one of passion and pride.

We believe everyone student has a place and our expectation of success holds no bounds. My students come from a wide variety of backgrounds and socio-economic places. We believe the value of the arts is incomparable to teaching life skills to better prepare them for a changing world.

My Project

Our theatre department is in desperate need of storage and organizing solutions for our vast costume and prop collection to protect it for years to come.

The access to organizational items like plastic bins that seal will protect our items from dust and mildew.

Additionally, storage hooks such as these will allow us more efficiently store prop furniture. In our scene shop, immediate attention to our construction equipment and maintenance with a much needed new circular saw and shop broom dedicated to out construction work.

We take pride in the rich history of our theatre department and the look forward to providing this traditions for many more years. Protecting our many assets in this way is one way to do just that!
