This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The theater program provides a safe space for many students. Currently, we have very limited space in our dressing rooms. We have limited shelving and clothes racks. Without proper storage, props and costumes often get misplaced or lost. Having new shelving and storage cabinets would allow us to organize our dressing rooms so we do not lose the props and costumes we have acquired.
Organizing our dressing rooms will allow students to focus on performance rather than worrying about lost materials that they need for shows.
Students will be able to enjoy performing instead of constantly worrying whether they will have the props or costumes that they need. My students deserve to have an organized space to store all of our materials for school productions. With your help, we can make that happen!
