This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In science we write every day and all day. This could include writing down our data, writing down our hypothesis and writing down our conclusions. To do this we need pencils and white board markers (and eraser!) to help collect and share our thoughts.
Writing our ideas down first helps students to feel confident sharing to others.
We can do that with an seemingly endless supply of pencil, papers (hence the need of a paper cutter), and white board markers. These supplies will allow my students important processing time to write before they share and practice communicating like a scientist.
