This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

What can be better than seeing your writing hung up on the wall?

Our students attend an inner city school that has a high poverty level.

This does not stop my students and their love for learning is limitless. They love to ask questions and explore the world around them. They are like little sponges who love to learn and share what they are learning!

My Project

My students will use the sentence strips and writing paper to write their stories. The write and wipes will allow students to practice making words in self correcting centers. The word building tiles will allow us to create words and practice spelling our sight words.

This project will allow my students to keep exploring the magical world of reading and writing.

As they continue to learn how to read and write they get more excited to show what they know. They love to write and read their writing to anyone who will listen.
