My students need a variety of technology to assist them in their academic areas. A laptop and tablet will allow them to utilize a variety of technology forms, while the printer will assist in daily work.
My students are my world; they make coming to work so easy. They may be behind academically compared to those of their peers, but they make up for it with their ambition and ability to strive to do better. A majority of my students live in foster homes, with grandparents or with single parents. They not only are struggling academically, but socially.
Unique, bold and driven are just a few ways to describe my students.
They have to work twice as hard on a daily just to equal that of their peers. I have English Language learners, students with Autism, emotional behaviors, health impairments, ADHD, intellectual delays, and speech and language delays. I am so proud of them and their ambition to do better for themselves.
My Project
Being able to use a variety of technology will help students reach their future goals. Using the laptop and tablet will allow for the opportunity to engage in learning in a whole new way. Using technology in the classroom will also give my students the opportunity to develop their digital citizenship skills. Being able to use the two different types of laptops and tablet will give the students the ability to enhance relationships between their teachers and other students in the classroom.

The classroom printer will provide the students with the ability to print their work right in the classroom without having to risk losing their work they have printed at home. The use of the printer will help them stay organized and keep their work nice and neat.
