Your kindness has made a meaningful difference in the daily learning experiences of my 8th grade ELA students. Because of your contributions, our classroom now has tools that promote engagement, accessibility, organization, and student success.\r\n\r\nYour donations provided items such as a classroom iPad, a classroom set of headphones, a classroom set of whiteboards, and organizational tools such as book tubs. Each of these resources serves an important purpose and helps create a more supportive and effective learning environment.\r\n\r\nThe iPad has been especially helpful because it allows me to remain portable throughout the classroom while completing important tasks. I can track students' writing in real time and provide immediate feedback on assignments. I can also award positive behavior points while moving around the classroom or while students are in other spaces, such as the library or the multipurpose room during assemblies. In addition, the iPad allows me to use our electronic hall pass monitoring system efficiently, helping me stay connected to classroom routines wherever I am.\r\n\r\nThe headphones have also had a tremendous impact. Students use them to complete assignments on their Chromebooks and access audio versions of texts. This additional support helps students engage with the curriculum in ways that meet their individual learning needs and contributes to a more inclusive classroom environment where every learner can participate more confidently.\r\n\r\nThe whiteboards have already brought a great deal of energy and excitement to our ELA activities. Students use them during games in which they form teams and search through their books for quotes that match funny prompts. These activities encourage students to work collaboratively, return to the text for evidence, and enjoy the learning process. The organizational tools, including the book tubs, help us keep our materials accessible and our classroom routines running smoothly.\r\n\r\nI am incredibly grateful for your investment in my students. Not only has your generosity provided classroom supplies, but it has also created new opportunities for students to receive feedback, access texts, collaborate with classmates, and build confidence as readers and writers.
