My Students

My wonderful students come to school excited to learn each day! They do not let their learning disabilities hinder their attitude to come to my class and give it the best effort they can!

My students deserve a bright future and the ability to focus on authentic learning that is provided in the least restrictive environment.

Most of our students receive speech services, occupational/physical therapy and counseling, and it would facilitate learning greatly by utilizing the requested supplies to enrich our special education setting.

My Project

My student's enjoy coming to our classroom each day. They enjoy learning about many different topics and it's important to show them how they are directly affected by the world's concepts and happenings. Many of our students can benefit from these materials because they are at a lower reading level.

These materials, Let's Find Out and Scholastic News Magazines will make a difference in my student's learning by giving them quality literature to read that applies to their interests as well as incorporates what's going on in the world around them!

We will incorporate these materials for individual reading and small group work to bolster word comprehension, concept comprehension, fluency, and also entertainment!
