We need your help in keeping our dress up clothes easy to find! We love our house area and all of our amazing dress up clothes that we play in everyday. Unfortunately, we have no place to put them all. And when it's time to clean up, clothes are just thrown back into a small and crammed tote.

I am a pre-kindergarten teacher in an inner city school and I can't imagine working anywhere else! We do, however, face challenges every day that many suburban schools take for granted. Ninety two percent of our students come from homes at or below poverty level. Despite the many hardships we face, I have always thought of our school as a diamond in the rough.
My Project
I have eighteen students that are very excited to role play and dress up as their favorite community helpers or beloved characters from their favorite stories. However, in my Dramatic Play area, we have no dresser drawer or cabinet to hang up and organize all of our wonderful dress up clothes. The existing bin that we currently use is crammed with clothes and often our hats and other props get squished from all of the mess! This makes finding props and costumes very difficult.
If I could acquire funding for this project, not only would there be a place for all the students props and dress up clothes, but the students could easily find their costumes by looking at the pictures on the colorful storage bins.
These bins will be filled with story props that allow students to re-enact scenes from their favorite stories like, The Little Red Hen, Three Bears and The Gingerbread Man.
