Help me give my students The Thing Flinger is an air-powered scarf cannon that turns learning into a sensory-filled adventure, helping Neurospicy kids build coordination, decision-making, and problem-solving skills—one joyful, high-flying launch at a time!

My Project

My Neurospicy crew of sensory-seeking, joy-powered little humans need an air-operated scarf cannon—because nothing captivates their attention like a surprise whoosh of colorful fabric! It’s a hands-on way to build coordination, turn-taking, and cause-and-effect skills while embracing the sheer dopamine rush of sending things soaring. With big, bright buttons for accessibility and YES/NO buttons for decision-making launches, every fling becomes a fun experiment in physics, problem-solving, and joyful chaos—because why just answer a question when you can launch it across the room?

Our neurospicy engineering trainees adjust the scarf cannon's settings (launch angle, air pressure, and projectiles), turning each launch into a practical physics experiment.

Through testing, tweaking, and troubleshooting, they'll learn that mistakes are valuable learning experiences, not failures. Through iterative adjustments and immediate feedback (with much laughter), students develop resilience, problem-solving abilities, and an appreciation for experimentation—mistakes are simply learning opportunities.
