This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have 120 amazing students. They are super creative, kind to each other, and very hard workers. My students are working hard to learn to love math and being back in school! I can't wait to see the Mathematicians they become!
My Project
All of us use math every day whether we know it or not. In 4th and 5th grade, we are building foundations that will be used for their entire lives. I want to make math fun and engaging for my students. Most of my students come from underprivileged communities and have not gotten the education they deserve. The materials I am requesting will help close some gaps caused by Covid. The multiplication games will help students become proficient in multiplying which will help them master future math concepts. 5.NBT.5, 5.NBT.6, 4.NBT.5
