Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students work hard every moment of every day to develop the skills necessary to learn to read, write and comprehend.
Our classroom has to constantly be on the edge of using technology to foster our listening skills.
We need these headphones so students can isolate the sounds they are hearing without the distraction of anything else around them.
Headphones can help a 5-year-old develop listening skills by reducing background noise and allowing them to focus more clearly on sounds, words, or directions. When listening to stories, songs, or guided activities through headphones, children can better hear tone, rhythm, and pronunciation, which strengthens language comprehension and attention. The personal listening space also helps children practice concentrating for longer periods without outside distractions. Additionally, using headphones during structured listening games or educational programs can make the experience more engaging and interactive, encouraging active rather than passive listening.
