This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Microphones are so very important so the students can record themselves reading and then listen to it too. Listening to themselves read can improve their fluency, pace, and pronunciation. In my classroom, we use Seesaw to record ourselves reading monthly. Students also record their writing that they want to publish so that others can read their work with ease. It so nice to hear students reading with expression and different voices too.

My students try so hard to do their best in everything they do, and headsets will help them take it to the next level.

My goals with this project are to make reading more fun and interactive. Some students have never heard their own voice recorded before and it is a thrill for many to hear themselves sound so awesome.
