My Students

My students are strong, independent kids who are striving to reach their full potential each and every day.

They are growing and learning in the same small, tight-knit, school community that inspired me to be a teacher.

They are dreamers, thinkers, talkers, and questioners. They are mini inspirations to themselves and others around them, even if they don't know it yet. They are budding ambassadors, world travelers, scientists, entrepreneurs, teachers. They are our future, and I want to give them a great start to their long, successful career.

My Project

My students have been introduced to a new digital techbook. They have so much more access to videos, online interactive activities and reading passages to expand on their learning.

With a class size of close to 40, they need headphones to be able to access all of the online possibilities without distractions from their classmates.

Having this ability not only allows the students to progress at their own pace throughout material, but to dig deeper and take their education to another level of their choosing. For strugglers, it gives them an opportunity to break material down in multiple ways for a deeper understanding.
