With the arrival of winter comes the opportunity to begin our author's study of E. J. Keats. Thanks to the generosity of a previous donor, we already have a comprehensive book collection. It would be wonderful to kick off our author's study with the viewing of a new Snowy Day DVD. Then we would engage the children in a shared reading of the Snowy Day Big Book for an entire week. We would follow up by incorporating the suggested lessons highlighted in the teacher's guide. At the end of the week, we would send home a gift copy of the book with an inscribed nameplate listing the donor's name. E. J. Keats is a wonderful author that is loved by preschoolers, and we welcome the opportunity to introduce him to a new group of children
