My Project

I would like to gain more insight into the Science of Reading and Structured Literacy in order to help my students strengthen their reading foundational skills. The Comprehensive Orton-Gillingham Plus training will provide me with these techniques and materials to further support student literacy development in a variety of modalities. Some of the outcomes of this training include gaining knowledge about students with reading difficulties such as dyslexia, understand how EL students can best learn English, identify and administer various types of assessments, and implement and create structured literacy lessons.
