This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Children often come together to create and learn naturally through play. The magnetic blocks, marbles, and legos I am requesting will be used for child-centered STEM activities involving science, technology, engineering, and math. These activities would allow students fun ways to experiment and test their ideas while working with their peers to reason and find solutions to questions.

Experimenting and building with peers would also help nurture and develop the love of science for my students.

The materials requested would be used for STEM challenges with students engaging in creating, building, and solving problems inspired by the picture books and informational texts they are reading in the classroom.
